Large standby generators need bigger liquid propane to operate
Customers living in larger homes need larger standby generators to provide necessary power when an outage occurs. In order to fuel their generators, they need bigger liquid propane (LP) or natural gas tanks installed on their property.
We recently installed a 1,000-gallon LP tank using our new 2013 Mitsubishi dump truck. We had the body specially fabricated with tank tie downs in the bed, tool and conduit boxes all around the dump body, and low sides to be able to load the excess dirt from a job site quickly and easily with our bobcat mini loader. This helps us provide a much faster installation than many other providers, and also helps us keep installation costs down for our customers.
You should never try to perform this type of work on your own unless you have a great deal of experience. If you hire a professional, you have to make sure that the company’s employees are familiar with installing gas tanks. Any mistakes made during the installation can lead to extensive and costly problems down the road.
Don’t take a chance with your gas tank installation. Call Reliable Power Systems today so we can make sure your job is performed correctly the first time.
