Home standby generators are more than a luxury these days. Extreme weather, construction, and many other unforeseen complications can interrupt the electrical service to your home. With a Reliable Power System supplied and installed by our company, you can rest assure that your home will have all the comfort and convenience you depend on. Serving Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami Dade Counties.

What is Back-up Power Generator?

A standby power generator is permanently installed outdoors, much like an air-conditioning unit is. The power generator operates on your home’s existing fuel source – whether that’s natural gas or liquid propane (LP). If neither of these fuel sources are present, we can install a liquid propane tank (in conjunction with Amerigas) underground on your property,  one of our home generators never to be seen again.

The standby power generator system includes the generator, automatic transfer switch, battery charger and distribution panel. The transfer switch is the brain of your backup power generator system. It continually monitors the utility power for an interruption. If utility power fails, the transfer switch automatically starts the power generator, transfers the electrical loads and restores power to your home within 20 seconds! When utility power resumes, the transfer switch reverses the process… again, automatically, whether you’re home or away.

Whether your standby generator lasts a few years or 30 years, it needs routine maintenance to function effectively and live out its lifespan. Even though it's still pretty hot ... Read More
